For my web biography, I am interested in interviewing the owners of Thomcy's Cafe, Nancy and Thomas Gaus. Thomcy's Cafe opened up last year on Main Street right by Slippery Rock's campus and has been a very popular spot to get breakfast and brunch food. Thomas Gaus is also the head cook, so it will also be interesting to see how he runs his kitchen and what his standards for success are. It will also be important to see why they chose to open up at Slippery Rock and how well they are doing.
Along with videos and photos, I also want to incorporate a timeline from when they decided to open up Thomcy's Cafe all the way to today and hopefully incorporate photo, videos, or documents that they may provide for me.
I would also, if possible, like to incorporate some data visualization on maybe their most popular dish, or the amount of customers/revenue that they have brought in over the course of the year.
I believe that this biography has a lot of potential to show how important new business are in the Slippery Rock community, and hopefully show people the amount of hard work and dedication that goes into starting a new business.
